Chehon is one of the biggest up and coming Choreographers and Creative Directors in the industry today.  He was appointed assistant Creative Director for AMERICAN IDOL XIV and currently coaches and trains singer/performer Erika Jayne, the newest reality star on the popular hit show REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS.

Chehon began his dance training at the age of 13 at The Royal Ballet School in London.  Throughout his teenage years, he performed with several major ballet companies across Europe and the US. He won numerous competitions and choreographic awards including The Royal Ballets prestigious Ursula Moreton Choreographic Award.  As a student Chehon was asked to perform for The Royal Family on multiple occasions.

In 2011, Chehon was invited to be the youngest lead dancer in Twyla Tharp’s Tony Award winning Broadway show COME FLY AWAY.  His performances and capability to command the stage earned him rave reviews across the US, proclaiming him as one of the most promising and outstanding young dancers of today.  He interrupted his professional dancing career to audition for the popular FOX hit show, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, where he won over the hearts of America and was crowned Americas Favorite Dancer during Season 9.

Since that time, Chehon has appeared and choreographed on shows such as DANCE MOMS, Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, BONES and AMERICAN IDOL to name a few.  He has also been featured on the cover of Dance Spirit, Dance Magazine and was invited to appear and perform on the ELLEN show several times. He also starred in the feature film called DANCIN’ IT’S ON, as well as appeared in TED2, THE MOVIE.  Chehon has performed at the OSCARS during the 87th Academy Awards and returned to perform as an All Star on SYTYCD.  Chehon has also worked closely with artists such as John Legend, JLo, Christina Perri, Nicki Minaj, Becky G, David Guetta, Boy George and acclaimed director Joseph Kahn, best known as the director of the Taylor Swift music videos.

Chehon currently lives in Los Angeles, where he opened his own creative studio IAF STUDIOS. The studio offers various creative services from photography, private coaching, choreography to full video productions. Chehon also created his own dance brand ‘I AM FORCE’ which recently was featured in DanceInforma.

He was recently appointed as a board member for Nigel Lythgoe’s Dizzy Feet Foundation. He continues to tour as a guest teacher for various studios, while continuing his creative and choreographic work in Los Angeles.
